Still Hoping showcases inspirational multimedia

I didn’t plan on watching for nearly seven minutes. I had three other browsers open with a total of six tabs to distract me. But I watched from beginning to end with tears in my eyes. To me, that proves what professionalism, dedication and talent can do to storytelling. I introduce to you, “Still Hoping.”

Interestingly enough, one of the producers is Matt Eich, the Ohio student who became well known in our field with his touching portrait of his pregnant girlfriend, “Love in the First Person.” Originally posted on the Soul of Athens site, MediaStorm picked it up and documented their wedding and baby delivery to present the latest version.

Here is the blurb from the site about the project: “Still Hoping is a multimedia reminder to the Obama administration from his constituents 6 months into the President’s term. These letters from around the country are pleas for equality and better lives.”

Hat tip to VisualJournalist for spotting this great piece.
