I am happy to announce that II recently turned two. I celebrated the completion of the first year by moving II to WordPress. I decided for the second year that we shall celebrate by giving something away! One copy of Steve Krug’s exceptional book “Don’t Make me Think” is up for grabs. In order to be eligible, all you have to do is tell me your favorite II post in the comment section (and you will make me even happier if you tell me why …). Deadline is Monday at 9am, October 5th when I will then randomly select a winner from the list.
I can’t believe it is already almost September. II has had a great month, thanks to everyone out there. I really appreciate you all visiting and spreading the word. And, as always, please email me ideas, projects, and suggestions for future posts – I love hearing from you!
After a brief tapering off period while I was in Honduras, I’m proud to say that July has been the best month yet for II. We had nearly 8,000 pageviews from 92 countries around the world. While U.S. visitors still form the majority, I have seen a significant rise in visits from Germany, UK, Canada, India, France and Brazil, among others. Welcome everyone, and I promise to look into implementing language translation options for our international visitors!
While posts have gone down significantly this month due to my absence while in Honduras, I’ve been happy to see site visits and pageviews remain about the same. Thanks for bearing with me, and I promise to get back to blogging more in the fall!
Whew, I officially survived six masters courses while maintaining this blog. I hope you all enjoyed my passionate ramblings throughout the semester. I want to thank each and every one of you for spending a part of your day with me and spreading the word about II. Traffic continues to rise as our multimedia community grows both nationally and internationally.
With spring on our heels and final exams looming ahead for me, it’s hard to believe April has already arrived. March was a great month for II, as traffic to the site nearly doubled. This is due largely to Twitter, which I joined in late February. I hope to get better at recapping the “best of” from each month, as I have noticed that posts get quickly archived as the month progresses. Make sure to check out the March archive, and please let me know if there is anything you would like me to cover in April …
Innovative Interactivity has seen exponential growth in the past three months, thanks to all of you. What started as a trial experience a year ago on Blogger recently took off as I transitioned to WordPress with a new name and domain.
Happy Halloween everyone! Today marks the first month since I moved Innovative Interactivity (II) over to Word Press and began blogging on a more frequent basis, so I wanted to share this month’s stats with you all. Subscribers, comments and visits have steadily grown throughout the month and I have you all to thank for that! Thanks for spreading the word, and please let me know if there is anything that is not currently on II that you would like to see more of …
After a year of blogging, I made the big move from Blogger to WordPress. AND, Innovative Interactivity now has it’s own home: www.innovativeinteractivity.com. Thanks to everyone who’s been reading, and I encourage you all to take advantage of this new “watering hole” by commenting, passing the site on to others, and letting me know what you’d like to see more of, in terms of entry topics. This site is for you!
